The Minister of Natural Resources and Climate Change, Hon. Dr. Michael Usi, on Wednesday 03rd May 2023 toured Viphya Plantations to among other things, strengthen the relationship between the Government of Malawi and the Concessionaires, drive resilience and sustainability, and improve efficiencies within the forestry sector.
The Hon. Minister underscored the importance of the tour, expressing confidence in the commitment of the Government to ensure political and social-economic stability to create an enabling environment that will attract more investments, enhance livelihoods, create employment and boost the nation’s economy citing Carbon Credit markets as a practical example.
