The Newly appointed Principal Secretary for Natural Resources and Climate Change, Dr. Yusuf Mkungula today May 9, 2023, visited the Department of Forestry Headquarters as part of one day ‘Familiarization Programme’ during which he also interacted with Department of Forestry dignitaries including Deputy Directors of Forestry Mr. Kasizo Chirambo, Mr. Francis Chilimampunga, Mr. Titus Zulu, Chief Forestry Officer Mr. William Mitembe, and Forestry officers. The meeting focused on ways to strengthen the conservation mechanism to ensure sustainable development, conservation and utilization of forestry resources for socio-economic growth and development of Malawi.
